Avoid being scam in PTC or money making site
I've been using internet for a long time but I just heard about money making site now a days. I found out that there's too many PTC or Pay to click site where you can earn extra income just by clicking ads from the site.
At first, I was so excited imagine that you can earn just by clicking ads even though I don’t bother to check what’s in that site. But after doing some computation of how much can I possibly earn for one month by clicking each ads everyday I realize that it’s only a waste of time for me.
Worst was, I able to reached my payout in some of them but I still didn't get the money up to now. Look like they're just using their member to gather referrals so that they can attract advertisers to their site.
Some sort of scam anyway.
Here's how to distinguish or avoid scammers.
In PTC
- It's not bad to try PTC as my experience might be different from yours, so you can also check to see it for yourself.
- Try to reach payout at least one then stop from there and wait till you received the money to your PayPal account. If you received it, means that it really works.
- Also try to contact the support team and let them hear your questions. You can ask them why it took them so long to send the payout to your PayPal, if they will tell you the same reason again and again then it means that there's a problem already.
- Don't ever try to upgrade yourself, wait until you receive the money before upgrading. Never try to buy some referrals from them. I tried to buy some but there's only 1 who actively visit the site and some are just for display. You can check the referrals status too. You will see that the date you purchased the referrals was also the date that they join the site.
Just remember that the moderator owned the site so they can create as many accounts as they can and pretend to be a member and be your referrals. Some of them might be legitimate member but some may not. Better rely on your own referrals by inviting your friends or other people to join the site under your referral's link.
- Read some forum and check for payout if there's any proof. Some PTC site will make an excuse that they are currently updating their forum page. But if after how many days or months and you will still get the same information then better think first because that means that they’re hiding something.
- Check the background of the site by searching it over Google or other search engine. You might see other comments or complaints posted by other member regarding the site.
