A Perfect summer training

Instead of taking the 1 month course I only took 1 week for first aid and CPR.
My 1 week training from 8am-5pm was not that easy, simply because I was also working at night from 6pm-3am and sleep for only 3 hours.

The 4 days lecture was boring and my bag was always full of goodies to eat while listening, just to keep me awake the whole day. But the trainer was good, there's no doubt about it. Fifth day was exam and demo, tried to remember what we've learned. Bandaging, CPR, Rescue Breathing. Well, First aid and CPR is a serious matter because we talk about life here and it’s not that easy. There's proper position on how to do it, your hands, your body alignment, even on how much air to give. A lot of don’ts to consider, one mistake might only added injuries to the victim instead of helping them. That's why u must know and be trained before doing it. There's procedure or step before you start doing CPR. You can't just simply position your hand and start.

Then the Final day was the much awaited day for all of us... it’s the actual day as we need to apply what we've learned. At first we’re just laughing and joking around but when we saw a lot of victims covered by blood are coming, the reality stood right before us. At first we don't know where to start and how to start or who will start it. It’s like black out. We just grab the bandage and etc.

It’s a mixed emotion. It was fun and great because we realize that those Blood are just syrup. Look’s very realistic, including the firefighter and the blast. LOL. Well, I’m so glad that I was able to finish it...

I am so glad you took the Course, and learned a lot. I wish I had more time for classes of interest to me.

Hahaha! I can imagine what you are saying ...I once went on training similar to that, when we were on the actual demonstration, we were laughing hard but then again we have to make sure we learned something from it.

I like it!

Keep it up =)
